I remember the first photograph that I took and why it changed my life. I entered Kairos time and it became my first experience with the complexity of time. It was as if the world around me was a full mess but the frame I captured was in complete stillness. Inside the frame was a poppy in full bloom, vivid orange and alone at the scene around all green in the shallow depth of field.

The image is not much for the history of images. But it really was the start for me to precive time and space, frame to unframed, the reality and the fraction of the reality described by the medium photography. Time and light. For me it started with time.
